Absolutely! Remote consultation via photography is a core service we offer at BEIT TARIQ Center helping patients get a quick preliminary assessment especially in emergencies or when the patient is far from the center.
How to Photograph a Burn Correctly:
- Lighting: Use good natural light (by a window). Avoid direct flash that alters true burn colors.
- Distance: Take a close photo showing burn details, and a distant photo showing its location on the body.
- Background: Use a white or light background to clarify burn boundaries.
- Scale reference: Place a coin or ruler next to the burn to show actual size.
- Multiple angles: Photograph from several angles especially if the burn is around a joint.
Information Required with the Photo:
State: when the burn occurred, how it happened (hot water, flame, chemical...), patient's age, and any chronic diseases. Send photos via WhatsApp to BEIT TARIQ Center's number and our team will respond within minutes with clear guidance.
