Severe Hypertension Symptoms:
- Severe headache: Especially at the back of the head in the morning — different from regular headache.
- Dizziness and tinnitus: Feeling dizzy or hearing ringing in the ears.
- Nosebleeds: Recurrent bleeding without obvious cause.
- Blurred vision: Sudden foggy vision or black spots.
- Shortness of breath: Difficulty breathing with minimal exertion.
- Chest pain: May indicate heart involvement — requires immediate emergency.
- Palpitations: Feeling rapid or irregular heartbeats.
Hypertensive Crisis Symptoms (Emergency):
Sudden severe headache + confusion + nausea + nosebleed + chest pain = go to emergency immediately.
